I'm finally getting around to posting a few pics of our trip to Wisconsin. We've been home for a about a week now but on the go since! Jolie traveled very well for a lil 6 month old bebe. :) The plane ride was fun...to say the least! She wasn't the screaming baby....but she wanted to get into everything! and being seated in the middle made it a lil rough to keep her out of our neighbors goodies that she just had to have. :) The trip was too short, as always. But I so enjoyed seeing family and a few friends. Mom had a few days off, so we spent a lot of time with Mom and visiting Dad at the campground. Grandma Davis hosted a lil cookout at her place to get everyone together. Aunt Tina and Uncle Mike and Brian even made it out for dinner. Dinner was fun, but it can be tough to visit when lil JoJo has a 7pm bedtime....so I was torn.

It was so cute to see Eva and Jolie together. I kept thinking back to the movie Look Who's Talking...wondering what they were thinking. Jolie especially love their time swimming. I think Jolie is going to be a lil fish, like her momma. Mom and Dad couldn't keep me out of the water when I was little, swimming on my own by 1 1/2 ish. I guess I need to enroll Jolie into swimming lessons. :)

5 months

Jolie is 5 months old!

Tummy time! Jolie is rolling all over the place these days. The only frustrating part (for her) is that she hasn't quite figured out how to roll back over to her back again. At least once a night, I'll go in and save her from her tummy. :) and right back to sleep she goes. She's also acting like she really wants to scoot...so crawling is probably near!

Grandma Visits Jolie

Mom came to Florida for a few days! It's been a busy few weeks! Jolie got to see both grandmas in one week...such a spoiled lil girl, or as we call her "Princess". Grandma and Jolie spent the day together so I could go to the hair show in Orlando. They had so much fun together! I wish she could babysit more often....she cooked...she cleaned....it was fabulous! Jolie loved all the attention! such a lil ham! Grandma gave Jolie a new red wagon that we can't wait to try out. Oh, and Jolie's new thing is a fake cough. :)

trip to Louisville

We made the loooong trip to Louisville, KY the last week of May. Mark recieved the "official" invitation to start academy, so we wanted to get a little family time in before he started. So....off to Granny's. We don't think Jolie enjoyed being the car so much. Poor thing, she cut another tooth on the way to Louisville. Those are a few hours I'd rather not remember. (sigh of relief....the tooth is here!) Even though it was tough on Jolie, I think it was good for us to get up there. We wont be able to much traveling for a while. This way we were able to spend a good amount of time with Granny and a few friends. We also drove to Lexington to visit Mark's Aunt Boo and the whole gang. Jolie has a lot of cousins! She got really excited about Emma, who is 4 1/2 years old. She would about jump out of arms to get to Emma...it was the cutest thing ever. All the babies are growing up so fast, hopefully we'll be able to see them all again before they get too big.

This is the patio set that Mark and Jolie gave me for Mother's Day. It is so nice to go out and enjoy the warm days or cool nights. Mark was at work, but we decided to take a few pics to share with everyone. I love it....Jolie loves it too! She likes to be outside taking in all that's around her. It's especially nice to be out right now since the house we're renting has a screened in patio and it's not too hot yet. (yet!) You can't see it in the picture, but Moe was out there with us and Jolie had her eye on him! She is quite fascinated with the dogs these days. I'm not too sure if they feel the same. They're both good around her, but keep a distance most of the time. I'm sure things will change as she gets older. but anyway, just wanted to share.....

4 Months

Jolie is 4 months old...and growing fast! She is still our happy 'lil girl...talking and laughing all the time. She is rolling over now and playing with her feet. Everything goes strait to her mouth...typical 4 month old, but also because she is teething! She has her 1st tooth, which popped up right around 16 weeks. A few weeks later now, we're waiting on another. Mark and I are always debating who she looks like...what do you think???!!!

Mother's Day

My first Mother's Day.....
Daddy and Jolie gave Mommy a beautiful wicker patio set for Mother's Day. I have always wanted outdoor wicker seating. It looks so nice out on our back patio. We just spent the day together as a new family...which was perfect! We even made our way downtown for a few pics. Another big part of my Mother's Day was that Jolie was dedicated at church. Mark and I are 'dedicating' our lives to raising her to know the Lord and His ways. It is our prayer that she grows up to be a godly 'lil girl. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms!

3 Months Old

3 months

Jolie is getting to be such a chatterbox, the girl loves to talk! She's also getting stronger, lifting herself up during tummy time. Not too much longer and she'll be sitting up on her own. Jolie has been a pacifier girl until lately, she's now more interested in her fingers. Mark and I are always thanking God for our beautiful lil girl....she's healthy and happy, we're happy.

April

Steve, Jessica and Eva made the long trip from Wisconsin for a week! It was so wonderful to have them visiting us in Jacksonville. The cousins, Jolie and Eva, were such good girls has we toured just about all of Jacksonville! The were even Twinkies for a day...in their matching "sweet girl" outfits from Grandma Myers. They were too cute for words! (Eva 7 1/2 months, Jolie 3 months....and Jolie is about the same size as Eva! She's a healthy girl!) We attempted a beach day, but after a long coastal drive to Marineland and two sleeping babies later, we decided to keep driving. Steve and Jessie did get Eva to the beach on their roadtrip to Palm Bay. Eva was lil beach bum... she even went for a swim. I think they enjoyed our 70 degree days, they went home to snow! I can't wait to get up there and have the girls together again! Hopefully we'll make the trek in July. Until then, we love you all!!!!!
